Christopher Craven is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in analytics and strategy within the sports industry. Currently serving as the Director of Analytics and Strategy for the Miami Marlins since July 2018, Christopher has progressed through various roles, including Senior Manager and Business Analyst. Additionally, Christopher has contributed to the Coral Reef Yacht Club as Head Coach since August 2018. Previous experience includes a stint as a Business Analytics Intern with the Washington Nationals and a Summer Internship at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Media Studies from the University of Virginia, a Master of Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Analytics at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

The Miami Marlins are Miami’s Major League Baseball franchise. Debuting in 1993, the organization has won two World Championships – in 1997 and 2003 – one of just five teams to win multiple titles during the team’s existence. The Marlins play their home games in Marlins Park, located in the heart of Little Havana. The state-of-the-art retractable roof ballpark opened in 2012 and is a first-class entertainment destination beyond baseball.
