Cosme Vargas is an experienced quality management professional with a strong background in engineering and business administration. As the Director of Quality at Marmon Foodservice Technologies since January 2023, Cosme focuses on enhancing the Quality Management System and implementing defect prevention strategies. Prior to this role, Cosme served as Senior Production Quality Manager at GE Aviation, overseeing site QMS and KPIs while spearheading an $80M revenue initiative. Previous experience includes positions at Whirlpool Corporation as Product Quality Manager, Project Technical Leader, and Engineer Subsystems Leader, where Cosme implemented processes that achieved significant cost savings and improved product reliability. Cosme's career began at Caterpillar Inc. as a Process Engineer, developing welding processes for diesel particulate filters. Cosme holds a B.S. in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey and an MBA from Universidad del Valle de México.
