Monojir Ali

Monojir Ali is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Principal Engineer (System IPT Lead) at Marotta Controls since December 2024. Prior experience includes working as a System Engineer at Whippany Actuation Systems from February 2019 to December 2024, where Monojir focused on the development of aircraft control actuation systems, applying the ARP4754 systems engineering process and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). Notable expertise includes the design and testing of high power electro-mechanical actuators, as well as control algorithm design and verification. Monojir previously held the position of Senior Project Engineer at Kearfott Corporation, leading the development of next-generation GPS/INS solutions, and served as Senior Systems Engineer at Honeywell, where Monojir led systems engineering for the primary flight controls of the Boeing B787 Dreamliner. Monojir holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Stevens Institute of Technology and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Engineering and Applied Mathematics from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
