Karen Groch has extensive experience in event management and strategic partnerships, currently serving as Director of Strategic Partnerships & Events and previously as Director of Sales & Events at Marriner Group since 2008. In these roles, Karen manages event sales across multiple venues, leads a team to achieve sales targets, develops marketing strategies, and oversees event budgets and sponsorships, while aligning events with the company’s business vision. Prior experience includes serving as Events Manager at ANZ, where responsibilities included planning corporate events for senior executives and coordinating cross-functional projects. Earlier roles at Marriner Theatres and ICMS Pty Ltd focused on client relationship management and exhibition coordination. Karen holds a Bachelor of Education with a major in Psychology from the University of Melbourne.
