Maryland Food Bank
Our mission is to lead the movement and nurture the belief that together we can improve the lives of Marylanders by ending hunger. The Maryland Food Bank is a nonprofit hunger-relief organization at the forefront of the movement to end hunger throughout Maryland. For more than 35 years, we have partnered with communities across the state to distribute food to individuals and families in need. Through carefully crafted programs, the food bank aims to meet the immediate needs of Marylanders while simultaneously working to find long-term ways to reduce hunger statewide. We operate from three facilities in Baltimore, Salisbury, and Hagerstown. Through our extensive network of soup kitchens, pantries, and schools, our branches distribute food throughout 21 counties and Baltimore City, including Somerset, Wicomico, and Washington counties—some of the most food-insecure regions in Maryland.
