Marco Antonio Silva Salazar

Marco Antonio Silva Salazar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marco Antonio began their career as a Systems Lead at Veterinaria La Vaca y El Toro, where they were responsible for installing and supporting the company's information system, as well as maintaining the network and systems.

Marco Antonio then worked as a Web Developer Freelancer, where they gained experience in web development projects. This was followed by a role as a Development Engineer at Axios TP.

Marco Antonio then joined Choucair Testing S.A., where they held various positions including Testing Analyst and Automation Analyst. In these roles, they managed and implemented software testing projects, including migration and functional testing using automation tools.

After that, they worked at Globant as a Senior QC Analyst and later as a Senior Test Automation Engineer. In these roles, they planned and executed test automation efforts, developed automation frameworks and scripts, conducted code reviews, and proposed technical solutions and improvements.

Currently, Marco Antonio is working at MAS Global Consulting as a Senior Advanced Automation QA. Marco Antonio has previously held roles such as QA Automation Lead and Nearshore QA Lead. In these positions, they contributed to high software quality standards, created and maintained test automation frameworks, and served as a mentor to junior and mid-level team members.

Throughout their career, Marco Antonio has demonstrated their expertise in test automation, quality assurance, and project management.

Marco Antonio Silva Salazar attended the Universidad de los Llanos from 2000 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Systems Engineering. During their time at the university, they studied various subjects including math, physics, electronics, computing, programming, software engineering, and databases.

In addition to their degree, Marco Antonio Silva Salazar has obtained several certifications. In August 2009, they became certified as an ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level from HASTQB. Later, in November 2010, they obtained the Microsoft® Certified IT Professional (MCITP) - Database Administrator 2008 certification from Microsoft. In the same year, in October, they also achieved the Microsoft® Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) - SQL Server® 2008, Implementation and Maintenance certification.
