Balakrishnan Ramakrishnan

Balakrishnan Ramakrishnan is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in core banking solutions and program management. Currently serving as Vice President Program Manager for the Core Banking Program at Mashreq since December 2022, Balakrishnan previously held the position of Core Banking Delivery Manager at Doha Bank from October 2020 to December 2022. Prior roles include Vice President and Head of Core Banking Service Delivery at Gulf International Bank, where expertise in managing Flexcube UBS Core Banking Applications was demonstrated across multiple regions. Balakrishnan's earlier experience includes project management and functional consulting in core banking implementations at BFSI Software Consulting Pvt Ltd., as well as various roles focused on credit administration and banking operations with HDFC Bank Ltd. and Indian Overseas Bank Ltd. Balakrishnan holds a Master's in Bank Management and a Bachelor's in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University.
