Faisal Mohammed ALShimmari is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and governance, currently serving as the Head of ESG & Corporate Strategy at Mashreq since July 2022, alongside a role as Senior Vice President for Risk Strategy & Governance. Faisal is the Founding Chairman of the UAE Child Protection Association and a Founding Partner at Garden of Eden UAE, focusing on sustainability and agri-tech innovations. Additional positions include Non-Resident Consultant at the Emirates Center for Government Knowledge and Chairman & CEO at Digital Research Technologies. With a solid background in IT governance as a former IT Governance Manager at the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi, and executive roles in digital transformation programs, Faisal possesses a strong academic foundation with multiple degrees in cybersecurity, information security, and computer science from reputable institutions.
