Syed Mumtaz Ahmed

Syed Mumtaz Ahmed is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in corporate and investment banking. Currently serving as Sr. Vice President in the Corporate and Investment Banking Group Finance at Mashreqbank since August 2010, Syed has been instrumental in managing a corporate portfolio exceeding AED 50 billion and contributing over 70% to the bank's net profit. Prior to this role, Syed held the position of Sr. Manager in MIS & Credit at Emirates NBD, overseeing cross-border exposures, and previously occupied various managerial roles at Mashreqbank, Kadra Trading Co. LLC, and Light & Company (E & A) Ltd., where responsibilities included financial planning, budgeting, and managing finance operations. Syed holds an MBA in Finance from Aligarh Muslim University.
