Ben Murphy

Vice President, Real Estate at MassDevelopment

As the Real Estate Services Program Manager, Ben's responsibilities include central project administration for programs including Technical Assistance and Site Readiness. He works with other team members to provide services to municipalities and public entities across the Commonwealth and coordinates past project reporting. Ben received his Bachelor of Science in Historic Preservation with a minor in Architecture from Roger Williams University. He has more than eight years of experience in real estate development and eighteen years of experience in nonprofit administration and management. Ben's career has focused on roles that have improved the communities where he works. He has worked on transformative redevelopment projects both with the city of Holyoke and DevelopSpringfield. A former longtime commissioner of the Springfield Historical Commission, Ben has been able to focus on projects that restore and bring vitality back to historic buildings.
