Aster Minwyelet Addamu, PhD, is a highly experienced leader in higher education programs and human capital development, currently serving as Lead at Mastercard Foundation since April 2020. Aster has a robust background in educational initiatives, exemplified by a significant role as Senior Reading Specialist and Senior Education Adviser at Creative Associates International, where guidance was provided for an $85.9 million USAID-funded project focused on improving reading proficiency in Ethiopia.
