Kaylee Stewart is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in disability, diversity, and inclusion, currently serving as the Lead for these initiatives at Mastercard Foundation since September 2013. Previous roles at Mastercard Foundation include Disability Inclusion Advisory Consultant for the Scholars Program and Human Capital Development, Partner in Enterprise Knowledge Management, and Associate Program Manager for Financial Inclusion. Prior to Mastercard, Kaylee held various positions at Save the Children UK from 2009 to 2013, including Project Manager for the Household Economy Approach and Cost of Diet, and Hunger Reduction & Livelihoods Coordinator. Kaylee began a career in child protection as an intern at Save the Children in 2007. Academic credentials include a Master of Science (MSc) in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, an exchange year in Political Economy at The University of Edinburgh, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Political Studies and Global Development Studies from Queen's University.

It was created in 2006 by Mastercard International and operates independently under the governance of its own Board of Directors. The Foundation is based in Toronto, Canada.
