Deirdre Darragh has extensive work experience in communications and marketing roles. Deirdre is currently working at Mastery Schools as the Senior Director of Communications. Prior to this, they held various positions at Penn Medicine Center for Health Care Innovation, including Director of Communications and Engagement, Assistant Director of Communications and Engagement, Manager of Communications and Engagement, and Communications Coordinator. Before joining Penn Medicine, they worked at The School District of Philadelphia as a Manager of Media Relations and Communications Specialist. Deirdre also gained experience as a Brand Marketing Intern at Under Armour and as a Marketing Manager at Crazy Man Restaurant Group.
Deirdre Darragh earned an Executive Certificate in Social Innovation Design from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022-2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from Villanova University in 2009-2011, along with a Graduate Certification in Public Relations and Journalism. Deirdre completed their undergraduate studies at Loyola University Maryland, where they received a Bachelor's degree in Communication in 2004-2008. Additionally, they participated in a program at Richmond, The American International University in London, focusing on Communication in 2007. Deirdre's secondary education took place at North Branford High School from 2000 to 2004.
