Chris Salkeld

Chris Salkeld has extensive experience in IT and transformation, serving as Director of IT and Transformation, Director of IT, and Head of Strategy Execution and Business Change at Matalan from January 2020 to March 2025. Prior to Matalan, Chris worked as an IT Consultant at KNJ Consultancy Limited, where expertise was provided in IT project management within the retail sector, with a focus on warehouse management systems. Chris also held a long tenure at Capgemini from April 1998 to July 2008 as an IT Consultant, specializing in retail consultancy, project management, and leading diverse teams across various sectors. Chris holds a degree from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
