Rebecca Shaffer, CPA, serves as the Senior Vice President of Tax at Match Group since April 2022, overseeing the company's global tax affairs. Previously, Rebecca held the position of Vice President of Tax and Head of Finance for China and Hong Kong Offices at Michaels Stores, Inc., where responsibilities included reviewing global income tax accounting and calculations. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Tax at Bloomin' Brands, Inc., focusing on compliance and communication of complex tax issues, and as Tax Director at Dick's Sporting Goods, managing income tax accounting computations. Rebecca began their career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Tax Consultant, offering tax advice and preparing tax returns for various entities. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Penn State University and master's degrees in Taxation and Accounting from Robert Morris University and the University of Virginia, respectively.
