Rajan Kapoor has a long and varied work experience. Rajan began their career in 2000 as an Associate with Network Strategy Partners, LLC. In 2001, they became a Technology Consultant as an Independant Consultant. Rajan then moved to Eurasia Group in 2003, where they held the role of Director, Information Technology. In 2008, they became Chief Technology Officer at Van Wagner Communications. In 2011, they held two positions simultaneously, Principal at Sathi Advisors and Director, Global Infrastructure at Analytic Partners. In 2012, they took on the role of Director of Technology at Cartwheel. In 2016, they joined the Board Of Directors at Vendor Security Alliance. Rajan then joined Dropbox in 2014, where they held four roles: Director Of Security, Head of Data Security, Senior Manager, Trust and Security, and Enterprise Solutions Architect. Most recently, in 2020, they took on the roles of Director, Security Architects and Security at Material Security.
Rajan Kapoor is currently studying Computer Science at Boston University.

We started Material after the 2016 hacks changed history and showed everyone everywhere the importance and fragility of our private data. We think it takes at least as much creativity to protect a technology as it does to invent it. We know that usable security means making people safe and productive.
