Joydeep Datta

Joydeep Datta is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Vice President of Finance at Material since February 2023, Joydeep previously held the position of Director of Finance at Publicis Sapient from November 2004 to January 2023. Prior to that, Joydeep worked as an Accounting Controller and Accounting Manager at Bechtel, overseeing all accounting, tax, and regulatory functions for the Indian entities and the Haldia Project, respectively. Earlier career experience includes serving as Regional Commercial Manager at Onida and as a Management Trainee/Junior Accountant at General Electric Company, while starting the career as an Articled Trainee/Junior Officer at PwC. Joydeep holds a Chartered Accountant degree from Price Waterhouse and a BA (Hons.) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce.
