Shawn Ashley

Shawn Ashley is a Supplier Quality Engineer at Materion Corporation since February 2021, with extensive experience in metallurgy and engineering. Prior roles include serving as a Metallurgist at SIFCO, responsible for internal lab testing and failure analysis in the aerospace sector, and at Corry Forge, providing support for steel forgings in various high-demand applications. As a Staff Technology Engineer and Lean Sigma Black Belt at Brush Wellman, Shawn led Lean & Six Sigma projects and mentored Green Belts. Additionally, Shawn has been a Community Advisor for the Theta Upsilon Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega at Case Western Reserve University since April 2013. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science & Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, completed in 2001.
