Sheng Wang

Sheng Wang started working as a Statistician at Mathematica Policy Research in July 2011 and remained in that role until June 2017. In July 2017, Sheng Wang joined Mathematica as a Senior Statistician and worked in that position until March 2020. From March 2020 to March 2022, Sheng Wang served as a Lead Data Scientist at Mathematica. Currently, Sheng Wang holds the position of Principal Data Scientist at Mathematica, starting in March 2022. Throughout their career, Sheng Wang has applied cutting-edge technology to help clients understand data better, supported policy making using data-driven evidence, and developed statistical models for statistical and causal inference.

Sheng Wang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Tsinghua University in 2006. Sheng later went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011.
