Matt Carter has over 18 years of work experience in the transportation and software engineering fields. Matt began their career in 2003 as a Transportation Manager at Superior Farms, where they managed truckload shipping of refrigerated goods to and from hundreds of points across continental US. In 2011, they moved on to ABF Freight System as an Operations Supervisor, where they planned delivery routes for the SF Bay Area and supervised the unloading of inbound freight and loading of delivery vehicles. In 2014, they joined JF Hillebrand as a Domestic Consolidation Coordinator, coordinating freight consolidation and domestic logistics for a large international beverage distributor. In 2017, they became a UI Developer at LOCH Technologies, Inc., maintaining a very large codebase, continuously adding new features and redesigning existing ones. Currently, they are employed as a Software Engineer at Matik, Inc.

Matt Carter attended General Assembly in 2016, where they studied Web Development Immersive. Matt also attended San Francisco State University from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Film/Cinema/Video Studies. Additionally, they hold an A+ Certification from CompTIA.
