Stephanie Soni

Stephanie Soni has a varied work experience. In 2014, they began working as a School-Based Occupational Therapist at the NYC Department of Education. In this role, they independently developed and implemented evidence-based intervention programs for a weekly caseload of 45+ pre-K and elementary school children. Stephanie also designed and utilized data collection tools to track and document student performance and growth, as well as completed medical evaluations to identify students' visual, sensory, and fine motor deficits. In 2019, they began working as a Product Consultant at Echo Studio. In this role, they led pre-launch content development for an eLearning startup. Stephanie conducted interviews with potential users and compiled data to identify pain points and needs, and recruited and built relationships with 20+ subject matter experts to drive content creation. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Matik, Inc.

Stephanie Soni attended The George Washington University from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a BA in Journalism. Stephanie then went on to Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, where they earned an MS in Occupational Therapy between 2011 and 2013. Stephanie is currently enrolled in App Academy, where they are studying Full Stack Web Development.
