Jim Zavodny, CPA, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Jim has held various leadership positions in different companies, including Mativ, Novelis, Manheim, Silverton Bank, UPS, and The Coca-Cola Company.

At Mativ, Jim served as the Vice President of Finance Transformation, overseeing the finance transformation of a $3B global specialty materials manufacturing company. Jim was responsible for tracking over $100M in synergy value resulting from a merger with Neenah Paper. Prior to this role, Jim was the Vice President of FP&A, leading finance for a $1B division with 20 operating plants. Jim also held the position of Senior Director of FP&A, leading the finance team for a $600M manufacturing business unit.

At Novelis, Jim served as the Assistant Controller for the North America region, managing the accounting group for a $10B international aluminum manufacturer. Jim was responsible for the end-to-end close process and SOX controls. Jim also served as the Senior Manager of Accounting and Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting, overseeing financial closings, reporting, and budget/forecast processes.

At Manheim, a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Jim managed the corporate accounting group, serving as the point of contact for tax-related matters and internal/external auditors. Jim successfully reduced the Construction in Process (CIP) account balance by $30M in the Technology department.

At Silverton Bank, Jim served as the Controller/Corporate Accounting Manager, responsible for month-end close, reporting, and budget/forecast processes. Jim presented financial results to the Executive Team.

At UPS, Jim was the Finance Manager, leading the international business plan and forecast process for an $8B division. Jim contributed to the integration of acquired international companies and implemented a global budgeting and forecasting tool.

Jim also briefly worked as a Business Analyst for The Coca-Cola Company as a contractor.

Additionally, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Accountancy with a concentration in Accounting from the same institution.
