Monica Howe has a solid work experience in the field of human resources, spanning over three decades. Monica'smost recent role was as the Global VP of Human Resources at Mativ, a position they held from July 2022 to the present. Prior to this, they served as the VP of HR - Global Operations at Neenah from July 2020 to August 2022.

Prior to their time at Newell Brands, Monica was employed at Newell Rubbermaid (now known as Rubbermaid Commercial Products) as a Senior Manager of Human Resources. Monica also served as an HR Manager for Ohio Operations at the same company.
From 2002 to 2006, Monica held the position of Corporate HR Director at Graphic Enterprises/Visual Edge Technology. In this role, they managed all HR, safety, and payroll functions for the company and its subsidiaries.
Monica's work experience also includes a long tenure at Danner Press Corporation, where they started as an HR Coordinator before being promoted to HR Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all HR functions for over 500 employees in a unionized manufacturing environment.
Monica Howe attended the Emerging Leaders Program at Emory University - Goizueta Business School from 2010 to 2011. Later, they pursued Organizational Leadership at Harvard Business School starting in 2016. Monica obtained their Bachelor's degree in Human Resources from Kent State University.
