Karthikeyan Manivel serves as the Head of Manufacturing Excellence at Matrix Design and Industries Private Limited since April 2023, following a significant tenure as General Manager of Industrial Engineering at Matrix Clothing Private Limited, where oversight of the Cut to Pack Production and Industrial Engineering activities for 2000 sewing machines and 7.5 million garment exports annually was conducted, generating a turnover of $55 million. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Manufacturing for Elastics & Socks at Page Industries Ltd and Deputy Manager of Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering at MAS Holdings-Intimate Fashions Private Ltd, where expertise was applied in areas such as skill inventory, SMV rationalization, and lean implementation. Karthikeyan has been recognized as a Factory 5S Champion, facilitating 5S implementations for major companies and developing innovative solutions like Automated Guided Vehicles for material transportation and an ANDON system for machine alerts, achieving noteworthy efficiencies in production processes. Karthikeyan holds a Bachelor of Technology in Textile Technology from Anna University Chennai.

Matrix has in-house embroidery and laundry facilities in all production units. In addition, we offer: 265 computer embroidery heads and design stations. Strong supply chain alliances with yarn manufacturers, processors and trim manufacturers, and dedicated circular and flat knitting machines across 3 vendors. Sourcing Office established in China. This helps us source not only more efficiently, but also constantly provide newness in fabrics/finishes.
