Brian Fuchs

As Executive VP and Chief Operating Officer, Brian Fuchs stewards a high performing, collaborative culture that embraces responsiveness and agility in service of Matrix’s clients. Brian brings experience leading the delivery of Matrix’s services to clients for regulatory planning and permitting in the energy sector and emerging areas like zero-carbon fuels, energy storage projects, and carbon sequestration. He has served on Matrix’s senior leadership team since 2019 as an operations Vice President and most recently as Vice President, Revenue and Growth.

In his role, Brian oversees our operations teams that deliver successful projects for our clients across Canada. He also supports the growth and diversification of the company’s revenue base by leading our engagement with our clients and ensuring our technical teams are delivering valuable solutions for the challenges facing communities and industries

Brian holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and is a professional engineer.
