Michael Gielink possesses extensive experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing across multiple industries. Currently serving as SVP, Global at Mattel, Inc. since October 2014, Michael oversees Environmental Health, Safety, Sustainability, Plant and Process Engineering, and Tooling across global operations. Previously, Michael held significant roles at Swagelok as Manufacturing Manager, and at AkzoNobel Decorative Paints, NA where responsibilities included directing manufacturing and logistics across multiple sites. Michael's career also includes leadership positions at CEMEX USA Inc., Engelhard Corporation, and Dean Oliver Engineering Consultants, as well as experience in South Africa's energy sector with ESKOM. Educational credentials include an MSc in Engineering from the University of Cape Town and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
