Joram Wilander

Joram Wilander is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and software development, primarily at Mattermost since October 2014. As Director of Engineering for Product, Joram leads all product engineering efforts and has held various managerial roles, including Senior Engineering Manager for Channels and Cloud, where significant contributions include launching Mattermost's first SaaS product. Joram's technical expertise was foundational in developing an open-source communication platform, leveraging skills in React and Go. Prior to Mattermost, Joram gained valuable experience at companies such as SpinPunch, Inc., BigPark (Microsoft Studios), GREE, Inc., Funzio, Inc., and Research In Motion, shaped by a solid educational background in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
