Mira Slavcheva

Mira Slavcheva is currently a Machine Learning Engineer at Matterport, a position held since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at Facebook from April 2020 to January 2023 and as a Software Engineer at Google from June 2019 to March 2020, where involvement included the Google Daydream project. Earlier, Mira completed an internship at Oculus Research and worked as a Working Student in Research at Realtime Technology, focusing on image processing and visualization. Additional internships include a Research and Development role at Carl Zeiss IZfM and a Software Engineering internship at Texas Instruments. Mira has an extensive academic background, holding a Doctorate in Computer Vision from Technische Universität München, a Master’s in Computational Science and Engineering, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen, along with an IB Diploma from the United World College of the Adriatic.
