Nick Richards

Nick Richards currently serves as the Head of Business Operations and Chief of Staff at Matterworks, focusing on building AI-powered next-generation metabolomics since January 2021. Prior to this role, Nick was a Senior Manager of Operations at Genospace, where responsibilities included managing various functions during a period of significant revenue growth and playing an integral role in the company's acquisition by Sarah Cannon, the Cancer Institute of HCA Healthcare. Following the acquisition, Nick continued at Sarah Cannon as a Development Manager, overseeing long-term strategic projects and representing Genospace in collaborative efforts with biotech startups and major pharmaceutical partners. Earlier experience includes working as an Analyst in Life Sciences Strategy & Valuation at Huron Consulting Group, where Nick led efforts in assessing fair market value for services provided to pharmaceutical and medical device companies. Educational background includes a B.A. in Biology with Honors from Hamilton College and participation in the Tuck Business Bridge Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
