Mike Salik, CCIM has extensive work experience in the real estate industry. Mike currently holds the position of First Vice President at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services™, where they started in 2023. Prior to this, they worked as Director of Industrial Sales and Leasing at Franklin Street from 2022 to 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Coldwell Banker Commercial Premier Properties as a Commercial Sales & Investment professional, specializing in commercial investment and leasing.

Before transitioning into the real estate field, Mike Salik worked at the USDA as a GSA Realty Officer from 2016 to 2021, managing a leasing portfolio of over 300 spaces for USDA operations. Mike also has experience as a Real Estate Project Manager at Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), where they led large-scale property acquisitions and negotiated agreements worth over $150 million.

Earlier in their career, Mike Salik served as the Director of Real Estate at All American Homes & Trust, Inc., overseeing a team and managing the operations of numerous residential projects. Mike began their professional journey in the US Navy, where they worked as an Aviation Safety Inspector and played a vital role in supporting global contingency operations.

Mike Salik, CCIM, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they earned in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science degree in Professional Aeronautics from the same university in 2002. In addition to their formal education, Salik has acquired various certifications throughout their career. These include being a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the CCIM Institute, which they obtained in May 2021. Mike also holds a Real Estate Broker/Sales Agent certification from the State of Florida, which they obtained in August 2019. In October 2009, Salik became a DAU Facilities Engineer through the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC). Furthermore, they obtained the Journeyman- Aviation Structures certification from the U.S. Department of Labor in February 2000. Most recently, in January 2022, Salik obtained the ULI certification from ULI North Florida.
