Josh Mirra has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in ecommerce and web design. Josh started their career as an E-Commerce Graphic Web Designer at Advanstar Communications in 2009 and later became an E-Commerce Content Manager at the same company. In 2012, they joined maurices as a Digital Experience Manager, where they managed UX and UI design, site merchandise strategy, and implemented SEO content. As a Director of Digital Experience from 2016 to 2018, Josh designed a customer-first product strategy and roadmap for maurices' website and mobile app. Josh then took on the role of AVP Ecommerce from 2018 to 2021 before becoming the VP of Ecommerce & Site Operations in September 2021. In this current role, they lead the strategy, operations, and optimization of maurices' enterprise ecommerce site, overseeing various functions such as site merchandising, front-end development, digital analytics, and UX/UI design. Josh has also taught web deliveries and photography at Duluth Business University from 2008 to 2011.
Josh Mirra attended the University of Minnesota Duluth from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Fine Art degree in Web Programming.
