Emma Phan

Emma Phan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Emma is currently the Director of Marketing Operations & Analytics at Maven Clinic since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Square as a Marketing Operations Lead from September 2020 to March 2022, and as a Marketing Operations Manager from July 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Square, Emma was a Marketing Operations Lead at Crunchbase from December 2017 to September 2020, where they led a team of three and developed strategies for in-house attribution models. Emma also implemented Bizible for attribution on the B2B side of the business.

Emma's previous experience includes working at Nimble Storage as a Field Marketing Operations Specialist from August 2016 to May 2017. Emma also worked at 8x8, Inc. as a Marketing Analyst and Marketing Analytics Intern from February 2016 to August 2016. Additionally, they have experience as a Marketing Manager at Koala Tea, Inc. DBA Koala T Café from February 2015 to June 2015, as a Public Relations Intern at JS2 PR from June 2014 to September 2014, and as a Front Desk Assistant at UCLA from June 2013 to February 2014.

Emma's work experience also includes a unique opportunity to work on an archaeological site for the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA on a study abroad program from June 2012 to August 2012. Emma received a grant for this role and analyzed ancient hydraulic systems.

Finally, Emma started their career as a Peer Educator at Planned Parenthood Mar Monte from November 2006 to August 2011. Overall, Emma has a strong background in marketing operations, analytics, and management, with experience in various industries.

Emma Phan attended UCLA from 2011 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics. In April 2017, they obtained a certification as a Marketo Certified Expert from Marketo.
