Chris Heinson has a strong background in the oil and gas industry, with experience in various roles at Maverick Natural Resources, LLC, Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation, and Oxy. Chris most recently served as the Chief Executive Officer at Maverick Natural Resources, LLC starting in July 2018. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP & Chief Operating Officer at Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation from January 2014 to July 2018. Chris was also a Senior Manager, Reservoir Engineering at Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation from March 2013 to December 2013. Before joining Sanchez Oil & Gas Corporation, Chris worked at Oxy as a Development Planning Engineer from May 2011 to March 2013 and as a Reservoir Engineer from May 2007 to May 2011.
Chris Heinson attended The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
