Frédéric Schepens is the CEO of Bayobab Group, a pan-African digital connectivity solutions company, since September 2017. Schepens holds multiple board positions, including as a Board Member for various GlobalConnect entities and as a Non-Executive Board Member at Mawingu. Since April 2022, Schepens has served as Chairman of the Board for Innovative Operators (IO), focusing on modernizing the Roaming and Interconnect industry. Other roles include Board Member and Vice Chair of GLF Community and previous Managing Director and Chairman of the Board at Vodafone Belgium and Vodafone Enterprise Italy. Schepens has extensive experience in senior leadership roles at BICS and Proximus, and a solid educational background from INSEAD and EU Business School, including degrees in Business Administration and MBA.
