Devarati Majumdar

Devarati Majumdar serves as the Director and Chief of Pharmacy at Max Healthcare since April 2012, overseeing the business aspects of pharmacy, including P&L management, clinical and preparative pharmacy services, statutory compliance, and people management. Prior experience includes a tenure as Director and Chief of Pharmacy at Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. from 2000 to December 2023 and as Manager of Pharmacy at the National Heart Institute and Research Centre from October 1990 to October 2000. Devarati holds a Master's in Pharmacy specializing in Clinical Pharmacy, Hospital Pharmacy, and Materials Management from Delhi University (1986-1988) and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification focused on performance improvement and cost savings from Max Healthcare Institute Ltd. (2006-present). Early education was completed at Kendriya Vidyalaya (1979-1982) with a XII degree in sciences.
