Ankit Khanna

Ankit Khanna is a seasoned professional in the field of solar energy, currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer for Solar Cell & Module R&D at Maxeon Solar Technologies since April 2021, focusing on cell to module interactions for IBC module products. From February 2015 to March 2021, Ankit led the Emerging Silicon Solar Cells Group at the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS), managing a diverse team and driving technology transfer and product development with Tier-1 photovoltaic manufacturers. Prior experience includes leading R&D on silicon solar cell metallisation at SERIS, successfully managing multiple large-scale projects, and contributing to advances in next-generation metallisation methods for c-Si solar cells as a PhD Candidate at the National University of Singapore. Ankit's academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
