Mike Nichols

Mike Nichols is a seasoned engineering manager with extensive experience in the field of hardware and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Hardware Engineering Manager and previously as Controls & Electrical Systems Engineering Manager at Maxeon Solar Technologies, Nichols has been integral to the PECVD group. Prior to this role, Nichols held positions at SunPower Corporation as Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer and Mechanical Engineer, and worked at OLT Solar, where key projects included the design and management of subsystems for next-gen PECVD systems and validation of process gas delivery modules. Nichols began the professional journey with an internship at v2 Lighting Group, focusing on LED fixture design and quality assurance. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University.
