Yifei Ni

Yifei Ni currently serves as a Film Process R&D Staff Engineer at Maxeon Solar Technologies, starting in January 2024. Prior to this role, Yifei Ni was a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder from May 2017 to December 2023, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of new transition metal oxides and chalcogenides materials. Earlier research experiences include work at the University of Waterloo from May 2014 to April 2016 as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in two distinct projects: one involving the dressed nulling theory for giant circular Rydberg atoms and the other on the crystallization of low molecular weight atactic polystyrene. Yifei Ni holds a PhD in Physics and an MS in Physics from the University of Colorado Boulder, as well as a B.Sc. in Honours Physics from the University of Waterloo.
