Yen Ling Lai has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Yen Ling started their career at PwC as an Associate in September 2010 and later became a Senior Associate in July 2012. In July 2013, they moved to Macquarie Capital Securities (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, where they initially served as an Executive in the Finance department. Yen Ling Lai then progressed to the role of Finance Manager in July 2016, where they worked until July 2021. Yen Ling then joined CGS-CIMB Securities Malaysia as a Vice President in August 2021, leaving the company in February 2022. Yen Ling Lai's most recent role was as Head of Group Reporting and Accounting at Maxis, starting in March 2022 and ending in March 2023. Yen Ling is currently serving as the Head of Technology Finance (Accounting) at Maxis since April 2023.
Yen Ling Lai obtained their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Accountancy and Finance from Birmingham City University in 2009. Prior to that, they completed an Advance Diploma in Accounting and Finance at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology from 2005 to 2009. In 2013, they also obtained a certification from the Association of Chartered Accountant (ACCA).
