David Culley

David Culley is a seasoned Digital IC Design Manager and Sr Principal ASIC Design Engineer with extensive experience in FPGA technologies and communications IP development. Currently employed at MaxLinear since June 2020, David oversees digital IC design projects. Previously, David held roles such as Principal Engineer in R&D at GigaIO, where responsibilities included FPGA design for PCIe networking products, and Principal Design Engineer at Macnica Americas, focusing on advanced video processing IP. David's past experience also includes significant contributions at IPG Photonics, Multilane, and PMC-Sierra, where leadership in product development and team mentorship were key components of success. David holds a Master of Engineering in Communications and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering from Simon Fraser University.
