Erik Venema

Erik Venema is an experienced professional in program and product management, currently serving as the Director of Program Management at MaxLinear since January 2011, after holding several roles including Sr. Program Manager and Sr. Product Line Manager for Cable. Prior to MaxLinear, Erik was the Sr. Marketing Manager at Trident Microsystems, focusing on the marketing of DRX demodulators for DTV, STB, and PC-TV. Erik's earlier experience includes roles as Marketing Manager for Digital TV at Micronas Holland B.V., Field Application Engineer positions at Micronas Semiconductors and Infineon Technologies, and an Application Engineer at Siemens Halbleiter AG, specializing in consumer electronics. Erik earned a BE in Electrical Engineering with a focus on electronics from Windesheim between 1988 and 1992.
