Samantha Smith has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries. Samantha started their career in 2005 as a Waitress/Manager at IHOP, where they worked until 2013. In 2009, they also interned as a Recreational Therapist at Va Health Care Systems for a period of six months. Since 2013, Samantha has been employed at Maxus Properties, where they started as a Leasing Agent and eventually worked their way up to become the Administrative Assistant to the Senior VP of Operations. Samantha has also held positions as a Training Specialist, Property Manager, and Assistant Property Manager during their tenure at Maxus Properties.
Samantha Smith began their education in 2006 at Kansas City Kansas Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Psychology. Samantha completed their studies there in 2008. Following this, they enrolled in Park University in 2008 and completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology in 2010.

Maxus Properties, Inc. has been in business since 1987. During the 1990’s Maxus responded to the change in the rental markets by taking over several struggling public partnerships and capitalizing on opportunities created through syndication of Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Maxus currently operates rental housing of every income level and continues to have substantial operations with market properties as well as with those under various affordable housing programs. Maxus also specializes in turn-arounds. We have taken over struggling partnerships, tenant-in-common deals and REITs, and have also been involved in the purchase of hundreds of millions of dollars in distressed debt.
