Wayne Uglietti

Wayne Uglietti is a seasoned mechanical engineer currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Product Owner at maxwell+spark since October 2023. Previously, Wayne held the position of Senior Specialist in R&D Design at Defy Appliances from April 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included CAD design, prototyping, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reduce costs. Wayne's experience also encompasses roles as Engineering Section Lead at DESign Group, Mechanical Designer at GUD Holdings Limited, and Designer at DESign Engineering South Africa, with a strong focus on automotive engineering. Wayne began education in mechanical engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, earning a Bachelor of Science degree, and has also gained practical experience in the field through various internships and work placements.
