Catherine wears many hats at Maze, leading everything from payroll and benefits to compensation strategy, equity programs, and all things People Ops. She’s been at Maze since 2021, building global systems that help take care of the team across 30+ countries — and yes, she’s the one who makes sure you get paid!

She joined Maze because she wanted to work somewhere fully remote, where she could have real impact, be trusted to make smart decisions, and be part of a culture that values both people and process. Since then, she’s helped shape everything from payroll management and total rewards to HR tools, onboarding, offboarding, and policy management

Before Maze, she managed payroll services at ADP, where she led a team, solved complex compliance issues, and helped clients across the U.S. navigate HR and payroll regulations. The experience built her foundation in operational excellence, team leadership, and creative problem-solving under pressure.

Catherine’s big on collaboration, transparency, and keeping things human — especially in roles like payroll and total rewards, where people usually only reach out when something goes wrong. Catherine is passionate about building inclusive, people-first processes. She believes strong systems and a human approach can coexist.

Outside of work, she’s soaking up the sun in Barcelona — hanging at the beach, trying out new tapas spots with her husband, walking her dog, or binge-watching the latest Netflix hit from the couch.
