Chad A. Kamler is a partner with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Mr. Kamler has experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications in a variety of technical fields including wearable computing devices, signal processing, medical devices, software, aerospace, home audio systems, robotics, power systems, renewable energy systems, automotive technologies, fire suppression systems, building materials and methods, telecommunication, materials formation and characterization, semiconductors, shape memory alloys, and photovoltaic, magnetic, and piezoelectric materials. He also conducts legal research and provides technological expertise in support of validity, infringement, and patentability analyses, and litigation matters.

Prior to joining MBHB, Mr. Kamler served as a teaching and research assistant at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studied thin film photovoltaic materials deposited in high-vacuum environments. Mr. Kamler was also a systems engineer at Continental Fire Sprinkler Company where he designed fire sprinkler systems meeting customer and regulatory requirements using drafting and hydraulic calculation software.
