Jordan A. DeGayner is a patent agent with McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP. Dr. DeGayner provides technological advice in support of validity, infringement, and patentability analysis in the chemical area.
Prior to joining MBHB, Dr. DeGayner served as a graduate research assistant in the Department of Chemistry at Northwestern University. During his tenure at Northwestern University, he worked at the interface of organic and inorganic chemistry as well as materials science developing synthetic and analytical techniques related to novel magnetic semiconductors. In this role, he designed and coordinated research projects for his lab’s metal-organic magnetism subgroup and mentored a wide variety of researchers. Further, Dr. DeGayner collaborated with numerous labs spanning chemistry, materials science, and physics.
