John Hayton is a designer at McAdams since October 2021, bringing extensive experience in environmental geomatics and project management. Previously, John served as a part-time lecturer at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, teaching courses on environmental geomatics. As a project manager at the Center for Urban Environmental Sustainability, John directed key projects focused on open space and ecosystem services, involving GIS analysis and client coordination. Earlier roles included internships and positions at Edgewater Design LLC, the Rutgers Center for Urban Environmental Sustainability, Handex Consulting & Remediation, and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection, contributing to diverse environmental initiatives. John holds a Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Allegheny College.
