Mike Jensen, CAMS, has extensive work experience in the compliance and risk management field. Mike started their career at Equitable Life in 1988, where they worked as a Product Development & Compliance Specialist. In 1996, they joined Manulife Financial and held various positions including Compliance Consultant, CAMLO & Privacy Officer, and Assistant Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer for Manulife Investments. During their time at Manulife, Mike developed and managed a team of compliance professionals and implemented Compliance Management Programs for various businesses within the company.

In 2014, Mike joined MCAN Mortgage Corporation as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer, Chief AML Officer (CAMLO), and Privacy Officer. In this role, they provided strategic direction and oversight for all compliance programs, including Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing, Privacy & Records Management, Regulatory Compliance, Fraud, and Business Continuity. Mike also had direct access to the Board and senior management.

Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in risk management, AML/ATF, privacy, and fraud prevention. Their work experience spans across federally regulated entities and they have strong knowledge of governing bodies such as OSFI, AMF, CRA, FINTRAC, CDIC, and OPC.

Mike Jensen, CAMS, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Western University, which they obtained between 1984 and 1988. Mike has also obtained the CAMS certification from ACAMS, although the specific information regarding when they obtained this certification is not available.
