David Ritchie Jr.

David Ritchie, PhD, currently serves as Senior Compliance Manager at McCalla Raymer Leibert Pierce, LLP, where responsibilities include oversight of REO real estate closing, title curative processes, and eviction matters. Previously, David held various positions at Emory University from September 2008 to August 2014, including Graduate Instructor, where instruction focused on college-level writing across multiple stages. Additionally, David contributed as an Administrative Fellow at Emory Laney Graduate School, conducting benchmarking research and writing articles for publication. Other roles at Emory included Website Coordinator for Emory Studies in Sexualities and Educational Technology Consultant at the Emory Center for Interactive Teaching. David earned a PhD in Comparative Literature from Emory University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from DePaul University.
