David Santangelo

David Santangelo is a Partner at McDermott Will & Emery, where since October 2021, representation and counsel are provided to life sciences companies. Prior to this role, Santangelo served as Counsel at Troutman Pepper from July 2020 to August 2021, advising biopharmaceutical and life sciences companies on a variety of business transactions and regulatory matters. Santangelo also held the position of Of Counsel at Pepper Hamilton LLP from September 2015 to July 2020, offering similar guidance on business transactions. Earlier experience includes serving as Counsel and Associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP from 2001 to 2015, with a focus on providing outside general counsel services to Purdue Pharma L.P. Santangelo earned a Juris Doctor degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Government from Cornell University.
